Although not as famous as manufacturers like Asus, Dell, Lenovo or Acer, CyberPower still has a following from those consumers who are into playing hardcore games or dabbling multimedia applications.
First off, the CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720 contains the groundbreaking Intel® Core™ i7-720 processor. This processor boosts speed for those demanding applications with the Intel Turbo Boost Technology, which accelerates the laptop’s performance. The i7-720 processor also allows fast multitasking, even when one is using the most pressing of applications. Moreover, one can enjoy fast computing with virtually no lags.
In terms of gaming functions, the i7-720 processor of the CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720 allows one to breeze through games and pull ahead of opponents using older PCs. In terms of digital media functions, the i7-720 processor allows the user to experience faster performance when editing photos and encoding videos.
CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720’s processor is backed by 4 GB of DDRIII random access memory. Since this laptop is designed for the use of gamers and multimedia editors, this laptop must be equipped with powerful processing for those users to breeze through programs with ease and with minimal lagging. Plus, the X5-5720 boasts of the Intel® 5 Series Express Chipset.
As this is a laptop for visual applications, the CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720 has a screen size of 14 inches with a TFT light-emitting-diode (LED) panel. Portability is an essential feature of the CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720. One can enjoy games and edit media files anywhere as it has a screen size of 14 inches. This laptop also has a chic and elegant exterior. One would think that this is an ordinary laptop instead of an impressive gaming laptop.

CONS
Even if the CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720 is a gaming laptop, its screen size of 14 inches, is seen by some as a disadvantage. How can one expect to enjoy playing games on a relatively small screen? Plus, the average battery life of 3 hours on the X5-5720 and its siblings is not attractive to a potential gamer.
CONCLUSION
Even if it is a somewhat small multimedia laptop, the CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720 still delivers a powerful and visually-stunning performance. The $1,199 price tag may be a bit too much for the average laptop user, but it is a wise investment for the multimedia aficionado or hardcore gamer. The CyberPower Xplorer X5-5720 still does not disappoint and is a worthy member of CyberPower’s lineup of Gamer Xplorer laptops.
